You don't take the jelly away from the peanut butter. Hayes & Kreider should stay together. |

That's a tough call. There is some opportunity there for Andersson and Chytil now, but do wonder whether Chytil could benefit from some time in Hartford. It's a tough call for me. - Pete V
Yeah. I was a big proponent of keeping Chytil here, but seems like he is getting lost in the shuffle. Maybe send him down for a few weeks as the 1st line center get him putting up a bunch of points. |

Ugh. Buch finally gets his head out of his ass and plays well, now this. I remember seeing him on the bench having his thumb looked at, didn't seem bad at the time. |

Yup and move Andersson up to wing. I like Andersson on the wing he has a bit of a grinding game in him |

Also less responsibility on the wing, he seems to play with less pressure when on the wing, like a bit more instinctively. |

You don''t have to demote Chytil if Buchnevich goes on iR. What are you lines if you demote Chytil? Are you playing McLeod or Lettieri? |

You propose these lines then, presuming Zucc is back:
Namestnikov-Zibanejad-Zuccarello
Kreider-Hayes-Andersson
Vesey-Howden-Fast
McLeod/Lettieri-Fogarty-Spooner |

When do we consider Buch and Zib injury prone. These guys miss a ton of time early each season |

I just don't think Chytil is learning much anymore being on the 4th line and limited minutes. He had a shot in the top 6 on wing for however many games. He looked ok but couldn't score. Andersson has been good since the call up, might as well give him a shot on the wing. |

McLeod out Lettieri in. But something like that Jan.
Really think Chytil would be better off getting big minutes with the Pack, imo |

Agreed, which is why I didn't want him signed for two years, I thought go one and see what happens. But if you send Chytil down, a fourth line of McLeod-Fogarty-Lettieri is kind of no bueno. |

I wouldn't be shocked if that happens. But why not give him a few games in the top-six to see what happens and then make a move like that? |

Well they did in the beginning of the season. Why not give Andersson that shot?
If Zuke isn't ready to go Give them both a shot. |

Don't be so smart. Why would Chytil be better off getting triple the amount of ice time in Hartford? |

I would believe this is being prone to injury if he broke his thumb gripping his stick too hard. But, the reality is that this was most likely caused by a slash. How does someone braking your thumb by whacking it with a big stick make one injury prone? Means to me that he was squarely in the middle of the play doing what he is supposed to be doing. |

6 weeks for a thumb? Can't they tape it and add some extra padding inside the glove? Injuries are so crazy sometimes |

Looks like Spooner slots in for Buchnevich on the first line. 90-93-23. Second and third remain same — 20-13-50, and 26-21-17, and fourth is 8-72-95. Seven D rotating in, so hard to tell if there are changes there. We talk to DQ after. |
